The Silly Season is officially over for The Musketeers. Today, the team are heading back to their spiritual home, Falls Creek. This annual training camp is where it all began for the Musketeers and is identified as one of the most important weeks in their training calendar.
The Ute is packed with a trailer in tow. The Musketeers will head off equipped with road bikes, mountain bikes, running shoes (more than you could ever imagine) and most importantly, an appetite for adventure.
Falls Creek is most commonly known for its skiing, however in the summer months, the high altitude, mountainous terrain and ideal cycling and running routes create the perfect training camp for athletes.
During the course of the week, the musketeers will be clocking up some massive miles, climbing epic mountains, at serious altitude…the perfect kick start in preparation for Ironman NZ and Ironman Melbourne.
